BSBI organises trip to N26 for Learn26 launch event

On Friday 5 April, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation Careers Service took a group of 12 students to the launch event of N26’s new university engagement programme, Learn26.

Learn26 is an initiative that aims to build strong and long-lasting partnerships with renowned universities and business schools to offer mentorship, guidance and inspiration to students from all backgrounds, empowering them to unlock their full potential while sparking curiosity in the world of digital banking.

Participants had the opportunity to listen to different presentations on accounting, saving, investments and banking product roadmaps and strategies delivered by managers from the host organisation.  This was followed by a networking session with a representatives from N26 over food and drinks.

N26 is a digital banking pioneer and one of Berlin’s start-up success stories. Founded in 2015 by Valentin Stalf and Maximilian Tayenthal, N26 launched Europe’s first mobile bank account back in 2015. Today, the bank has more than eight million customers in 24 markets and a team of 1,500 employees working across 10 different countries.

Michael Ferenc, Careers Service Manager at BSBI, who was the organiser of the trip, said: “This is the kind of a modern and forward-thinking employer that we like to engage with. They offer amazing insights not only into the world of banking but into the world of work and its inevitable future.”
