BSBI hosts first student orientation on Barcelona campus

This month, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation hosted a new student orientation for the October 2023 intake at the Barcelona campus. This marks the first batch of students in the Barcelona campus undergoing the orientation session.

The orientation session was conducted in a hybrid mode, both on-campus and online, to accommodate all students. The two-day orientation aimed to introduce new students to the academic and social environment in Barcelona while equipping them with essential resources. The session welcomed diverse students from countries such as Kazakhstan, India, Iran, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Egypt.

On the first day, on-campus staff welcomed students to BSBI and shared crucial information about student life in Barcelona, including accommodation, city registration, and transport options. Students interacted with the academic faculty from Berlin to learn more about the study process. They also engaged with the International Affairs team to learn about visa essentials.

On the second day, students were introduced to study tools, followed by discussions on student well-being, BSBI community offers, post-enrolment scholarships, and some interesting life hacks for living well in Barcelona. The day concluded with students getting a glimpse of Barcelona through a specially made video presenting this special city, and a city tour for students starting at Gaudi’s beautiful Casa Batlló on the famous Passeig de Gràcia street, followed by tapas in the Boqueria market in the heart of the city.

Following the event, Josipa Musura, Campus Manager Barcelona, said: “We are thrilled to welcome the first intake in Barcelona for the orientation sessions. Our students are equally excited as us, and we are looking forward to supporting them in their upcoming academic journey.”

BSBI warmly welcomes all the students and wishes them success in their careers.
