In the modern digital era, emerging digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), business intelligence (BI), virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), self-driving cars, etc. have generated new opportunities and are considered as the future of the technology industry and will be critical to the future of economies and the professional world. They offer business and aspiring technical professionals a streamlined course to learn the basic concepts of the most common emerging technologies and their applied business applications.
To guide and provide more information on these new technologies to the students, BSBI IT and AI Society is organising a workshop “Introduction to Future Technologies: AI, BI, VR, AR, Self-driving cars” on 20th April 2023. The workshop will be led by Dr Lawrence Ibeh, Lecturer, and IT and AI Society Coordinator.
Participants of the workshop will explore how these technologies define products and services, how you can create and deliver them, and learn about the applications, opportunities and challenges associated with the technologies.
It is open to BSBI students who are interested in exploring and learning more about these technologies and build a career in the IT industry.
