Overview
Sagi Hartov has been active in the GUS Group for more than 10 years and has been Principal of the Creative Arts for more than four years. He also served as Chairman of HTK Academy and supported the move to the new campus in Hamburg during 2018/19. He is the CEO and Co-Founder of Berlin School of Business Innovation (BSBI), and Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) and has also been named the CEO of GUS Germany GmbH (GGG). Sagi oversees the University of Europe of Applied Sciences, GISMA University of Applied Sciences, IC University of Applied Sciences – Amsterdam, HTK Academy and Berlin School of Business and Innovation.
Sagi is not only at home in the world of education. As a professional musician (cellist) fellow and graduate of the prestigious Royal Academy of Music (London, UK) he won competitions and delivered master classes, served as member of jury in competitions and recording for BBC radio 4, BBC Channel 1, Universal Records and performing as a soloist with world famous musicians and appearing in top music festivals and concert halls.
After graduation from the Royal Academy of Music (RAM), where he graduated his postgraduate and teaching qualifications, Sagi served as the Cultural Attaché in London leading on international cultural collaboration. Sagi was working with the office of the London Major and supported events for the City Hall and other top venues in the UK. Between 2007 and 2011, he was a Director of the Tzavta Culture Centre where he created and managed the organisation of over 100 events per year.
Sagi brings artistic creativity and a wealth of experience from the international higher education field and the creative industries to the Global University Systems, one of the world’s most diverse networks of higher education institutions.
